Wrocław Tech has successfully organized a week-long,free Deep-Tech Camp, hosted at our university, alongside students from other institutions.

Project Overview:

During this camp, we will focus on innovations and solutions related to green energy. You will have the opportunity to work in an international team, developing ideas and projects that address real-world challenges in renewable energy. The camp includes full-day sessions, as well as engaging after-hours social activities, all conducted in English.

We are looking for students who:

  • Have an interest in green energy technologies,
  • Are skilled in public presentations,
  • Can work as part of a team,
  • Possess a sense of business acumen,
  • Have a background in IT, including in AI,

You do not need to have a ready-made idea; a willingness to start the journey and learn the basics of creating a new business is sufficient. By the end of the camp, you can choose to further develop your week-long project with a team or apply the skills you’ve gained to other ventures.

During the training, you will be able to acquire and deepen your knowledge in the field of business development, innovative entrepreneurship, open innovation, and deep tech technologies.

The IDEA-UP platform ideaup.pwr.edu.pl is a space where you can:

  • gain insight into cutting-edge deep tech approaches,
  • develop your skills in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship,
  • change your attitude and become an innovator,
  • get inspired to create a start-up
  • gain free access to lectures by researchers from Italy, Finland, Germany, France, Israel, Spain and Poland
  • obtain a free certificate of completion of an international course.

Lessons Learned

The project was the occasion to gather people from various department (teaching, association, professionalization, company relationship, international, innovation coaches, research and innovation, …). Actions benefited to entrepreneurship advisors who has a better overview of students who has an entrepreneur mindset. Students who can now be coached more efficiently. Best practices were spread from the Master of innovation to almost all departments (teachers, associations, …). Changes occurred after meeting linked to the project (event preparation, teaching preparation, WP work,…). Improvement of project managing in an international environment (research and innovation department).
