The “Deep-Tech Digital Technologies in Health and Education” has been held on Tuesday, November 14th, from 16:00 to 19:00. This event, organized by HIT – Holon Institute of Technology members at the DEETECHTIVE project, was a significant undertaking aligned with the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) of the DEETECHTIVE project under the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT).
The event was seamlessly conducted via Zoom and garnered enthusiastic participation from more than 160 attendees. Dr. Michael Winokour set the stage with insightful opening remarks, laying the foundation for the subsequent discussions. Following this, Prof. Arriel Benis delivered an engaging talk centering on “One Digital Health” and its pivotal role in propelling MedTech and DeepTech innovations forward. His presentation served as a noteworthy example, showcasing realistic scenarios within the deep-tech industries, a key focus area of the DEETECHTIVE project.
Dr. Dan Kohen-Vacs took the stage next, addressing the audience on “AI Technologies for Enhancing Learning and Training Experiences.” During his talk, Dr. Kohen-Vacs delved into the essential aspects of implementing AI technologies for educational purposes within the dynamic landscape of deep-tech industries. This insightful discussion shed light on prominent considerations necessary for the effective integration of AI in learning environments.
Mr. Gideon Zailer, CEO at Methodica, a prominent player in the Educational Technologies industry, shared his expertise in the subsequent session. His presentation focused on exploring opportunities and challenges in designing programs aimed at enhancing workers’ capabilities within the Deep Tech industry. The nuanced insights provided by Mr. Zailer added a valuable dimension to the event, offering a comprehensive view of the industry’s landscape.
Dr. Winokour, in his concluding remarks, skillfully tied together the various topics discussed throughout the event. He illustrated the Synergy System for exercising cohesion among the themes addressed during the event as well as for incorporating new perspectives brought forth by the engaged audience. This wrap-up not only provided a cohesive overview but also highlighted the collaborative spirit and knowledge exchange fostered during the event.
